Future Retroism

Future Retroism is an exploration of modernism, memory, and imagined futures. Inspired by the architecture and design ideals of the mid-century era,
these paintings revisit a time when the future was viewed with boundless optimism and possibility.

Influenced by the desert modernism of Palm Springs, travels abroad, and a lifelong fascination with architecture and place, the work blends geometric structure with gesture, atmosphere, and abstraction. Familiar forms dissolve and reassemble, creating visual environments that feel simultaneously remembered and imagined.

These paintings invite viewers to consider how the hopes, ambitions, and aesthetic ideals of the past continue to shape the world we envision today.
