I’m excited to invite you to the opening of LIGHT STRUCTURE, an exhibition of my newest work at Big Mike Art in Palm Springs.
Over the past several months, I’ve been developing a new body of paintings exploring the place where architecture, geometry, atmosphere and light intersect—where solid structures begin to dissolve, and light itself becomes something almost architectural.
Light becomes architecture.
Architecture becomes atmosphere.
For this exhibition, my paintings will be joined by the sculpture of Brian Hicks. His work brings physical form, surface and shadow into the gallery, creating a natural dialogue with the ideas I’ve been exploring in the Light Structure series.
This show also marks something larger for me: a new chapter for Big Mike Art. The gallery is evolving, the work is evolving, and there’s much more ahead that I’m looking forward to sharing with you.
